Why I moved my business from South East to Lagos – Cubana Chief Priest

Pascal Okechukwu, a.k.a. Cubana Chief Priest, is a businessman and socialite who relocated his business to Lagos State due to unrest in the Southeast.

In a recent interview with BBC Igbo, he revealed this.

The socialite lamented the fact that regular visitors from the East had stopped coming because they were afraid of being kidnapped and killed.

He said: “There is widespread hunger in the South-East. It is our own community members who provide criminals with information.

“Our people began targeting the wealthy, so the wealthy stopped returning home during festivities. That’s why I moved to Lagos to conduct my business.”
