Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke, known widely as Davido, has explained the reason behind his recent reduced activity on social media.

As Africa’s most-followed artist online, Davido hinted that his marriage has led him to cut back on his social media presence while replying to a fan who expressed concern about his prolonged absence.

The fan posted on X, “Davido never post for over 3 days now. I miss my idolo.”

In response, the singer wrote, “When u marry u go understand.. lol.”

Davido and his wife, Chioma Adeleke, celebrated their white wedding in Miami, Florida, in August 2025.

The couple recently marked their one-month anniversary on Thursday, September 11, 2025.

Chioma shared a brief video from their elegant wedding, expressing profound gratitude and joy for their journey together so far.

Davido replied with a loving comment, calling their wedding day “the best day ever.”
