The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has named Mrs. Nancy Sabanti Nathan as the Acting Head of Service for the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA).

According to a statement released on Tuesday by Wike’s media aide, Lere Olayinka, Sabanti will serve in an acting capacity until a permanent Head of Service is appointed.

The position became vacant following the passing of Mrs. Grace Adayilo, who died the previous Monday.

Before this appointment, Mrs. Sabanti was the Permanent Secretary of the Youth Development Secretariat under the FCTA. She had also previously held the role of Director of Finance and Administration in the office of the FCT Minister before being elevated to Permanent Secretary.

The statement noted that the new appointment takes effect immediately.
