Doreen Moracha already shared a summary of her HIV struggle with the world on her social media platforms. The stunning woman disclosed in a brief Instagram post that she received the diagnosis 24 years ago. Doreen discussed the risks of quitting ARV use, sharing how she nearly passed away after going nearly two years without the medication. Fortunately, she realised the benefits of taking ARVs, and as a result, her viral load has decreased.
“Lived with HIV 31 years & counting. Official diagnosis 24 years ago. Started ARVs 19 years ago. Took an ARV holiday for 2 years (i almost died).Shared my HIV status publicly 8 years ago. My viral load is Undetectable. Now ayam thriving positively because I AM NOT MY DIAGNOSIS! My name is Doreen Moraa Moracha and I AM A BEAUTIFUL STORY” She wrote.
Doreen was born with HIV; she didn’t realise it until she was 13 years old. She had to conceal it for years due to stigma and treatment exhaustion. Nonetheless, she bravely disclosed her status to the public to raise awareness. Doreen is currently the creator of “I am a beautiful story’ youtube channel” and a social media influencer.
