A Nigerian lady made headlines online when she purposefully used the Yoruba language to insult bus passengers in Owerri, believing that since none of them knew the language, they wouldn’t respond.

A video of the incident, which she posted on her TikTok page, showed her confidently declaring her intention while riding the bus.

In the video, she said,“I’m in Owerri City, I’m in a bus, none of the passengers understand Yoruba, hence, I want to insult them one after another.”

She began to shout insults at the passengers, leading a male passenger to implore her to stop.
