The video of a Nigerian man marrying his American sweetheart has sparked a lot of reactions from TikTok fans.

The couple was seen kissing in the video, presumably following their marriage.

Although they were holding hands and celebrating their union while wearing traditional Yoruba clothing, the video also received a lot of remarks.

Some of the remarks implied that the woman was older, while others were supportive and wished the couple luck.

The woman, however, stated that she is indifferent to criticism of their union. Some trolls claimed to have mistaken her for the man’s mother, but she claimed to be enjoying the comments.

The woman in the video that @mr_mrsaderemi posted stated: “Let me say this. thank you all for the negative and positive comments. 70 years old, never! His mother, never! But keep it coming, I’m enjoying it.”

The caption for another video, which shows the Nigerian man with the American woman, reads, “I will love you forever, my sweetheart.”
