2024 budget: Tinubu gives marching order to MDAs on performance report

Ministries, departments, and agencies regarding their 2024 budget performance reports have been handed a marching order by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

This happens as Tinubu signed the N28.7 trillion budget for 2024 on Monday.

Tinubu instructed all MDAs to submit monthly budget performance reports to the Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning, according to a statement issued by presidential spokeswoman Aguri Ngelale.

The President added: “The Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy shall hold regular reviews with the Economic Management Team, and, in addition, I shall chair periodic Economic Coordination Council meetings.”

According to Zingtie, on Monday, January 1, 2024, Tinubu signed the 2024 appropriation bill.
