The Securities and Exchange Commission of Nigeria, SEC, has Promoted to take action

In his New Year’s greeting to the capital market community, SEC Director General Dr. Emomotimi Agama revealed this. He asserted that the SEC would fortify it’s regulatory Structure in 2025 in order to address systemic bad actors and safeguard investors.

It is crucial for us to mainstream the Nigeria Capital market into the economy. In order to increase efficiency and more firmly hold bad actors accountable, we are redesigning our investigative procedures. The foundation of financial market and investor confidence is transparency. We will implement policies to guarantee transparency and confidence in securities transactions,” he declared.
