Super Eagles head coach, Eric Chelle, is set to stick with the starting XI that secured a 2-0 victory over Rwanda in Kigali for Tuesday’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Zimbabwe.

According to SCORENigeria, unless there are injuries or any unforeseen circumstances, Chelle will field the same line-up for the match against the Warriors in Uyo.

Reliable goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali, who was in goal during the Rwanda game, will start again.

Captain William Troost-Ekong, Calvin Bassey, Ola Aina, and Bright Osayi-Samuel will feature in defense.

Leicester City’s Wilfred Ndidi and Alex Iwobi will continue in midfield.

Samuel Chukwueze, who struggled to impress against the Amavubi, will get another opportunity, alongside wingers Ademola Lookman and Moses Simon.

Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen, who scored a brace against Rwanda, will once again lead the attack.
