The final 23-man roster for the Super Eagles’ 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches against Rwanda and Zimbabwe has been announced by head coach Eric Chelle.
Two players from his home base were included in Chelle’s squad: midfielder Papa Daniel and goalie Kayode Bankole.
KRC Genk forward Tolu Arokodare received his first invitation, and Joe Aribo was also included.
In addition, the Malian included regulars like captain William Troost-Ekong, Victor Osimhen, Ademola Lookman, Moses Simon, and Samuel Chukwueze.
Nigeria will play Rwanda, the leaders of Group C, in Kigali on Friday, March 21, and then Zimbabwe’s Warriors at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo four days later.
