Every goal scored by the Super Eagles against the Democratic Republic of the Congo in tonight’s 2026 FIFA World Cup playoff final will earn them $50,000.

Last Thursday, the three-time African champions defeated the Panthers of Gabon 4-1, earning $120,000.

For every goal against their fellow West Africans, Eric Chelle’s team received $30,000.

The National Sports Commission, NSC, and unidentified corporate entities started the gesture.

The goal is to raise players’ spirits while they compete for a spot in the 2026 World Cup finals.

The winner of the Super Eagles vs. Leopards game will advance to the Intercontinental playoffs, which are scheduled to take place in Mexico in March 2025.
