Mahmud Jega, a public affairs analyst, has claimed that the ongoing crisis in the African Democratic Congress (ADC) is being orchestrated.
In an interview on Arise Television’s ‘Prime Time’ on Friday, Jega cautioned the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to exercise extreme caution.
The ADC is currently dealing with an internal crisis that has resulted in the removal of former Senate President David Mark from his position as the party’s national chairman.
Expressing his view, Jega stated, “The crisis in the ADC is being engineered. And INEC has to be very careful.
“The impression INEC is giving is that it is part of the scheme to destroy all opposition parties.
“The opposition wanted the ADA; INEC sat on it for 2 years. Now they have moved to ADC, and they are coming up with something else.”
