The coalition being built to remove the ruling party in the 2027 elections has been dismissed by Ali Bukar Dalori, the Acting National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Dalori, who assumed office on Monday when APC chairman Abdullahi Ganduje resigned, claimed in an interview with BBC Hausa that the coalition is only well-liked in Abuja.
He claimed that the opposition leaders leading the movement were simply in a hotel in Abuja and would leave the nation as soon as they lost an election.
He said, “Nobody is talking about a coalition except in Abuja.
“Even in Abuja, they are in a hotel, and when they are defeated in elections, they will leave the country”.
According to ZINGTIE, the coalition is presently being led by Peter Obi, a former presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and his counterpart from the Labour Party.
They have chosen to run on the platform of the All Democratic Alliance, ADA, which has not yet been officially registered.
