Ahead of the federal elections in 2027, the All Progressives Congress, APC, has denied rumors that it was on fire.

Speaking on Channels Television’s Sunday Politics, Felix Morka, the party’s national publicity secretary, claimed that the party and its future had never been more promising.

As the party struggles with internal bickering over endorsements, recent moves within the APC give the impression that animosity is building.

Northern heavyweights have criticized President Tinubu’s support for a second term.

The party is not in peril, according to Morka, who also stated, “We are waxing strong.” There has never been a finer time for the APC and its possibilities.

He insisted that states like Delta and Akwa Ibom, which are historically PDP states, would still win their states if they stayed in the PDP but decided to go to the national ruling party, arguing that the defections to the ruling party were natural and unrelated to a fear of extinction.

Morka thinks that more significant politicians would join the party, disappointing people who are praying and waiting for the overthrow of the current administration.
