According to Sumner Sambo, Arise Television’s Director of News and Politics Editor, the African Democratic Congress, or ADC, intends to get former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar a presidential ticket.

This was said by Sambo on Monday’s “The Morning Show.”

He claims that there are also rumors that the PDP would be compelled to back Atiku’s presidential campaign if he wins the ADC ticket and all goes according to plan.

“The major problem of the ADC right now is that INEC has not even listed David Mark as the national chairman of the ADC, and Atiku hasn’t picked the party’s membership form,” he said.

According to ZINGTIE, Atiku had promised his supporters that he will run for president in the general elections of 2027.

The former vice president stated that he will run again in 2027 because Nigeria needed to be saved from the Intensive Care Unit under President Bola Tinubu’s administration, according to a statement he made through one of his spokespersons during the 2023 presidential election, Tunde Olusunle.
