Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar’s Special Assistant on Digital Media Strategy, Demola Olarenwaju, has charged that the media is making matters worse, particularly in light of the All Democratic Alliance’s (ADA) decision to become the platform for the opposition coalition.
In a Twitter sent on his X profile on Saturday, he stated this and added that he was taken aback by the widespread rumors that the opposition coalition’s platform for the 2027 elections is the ADC.
”Nigerian newspapers often contribute to our challenges. A group is in the process of pursuing party registration, just like any other Nigerian, but they need to coordinate this with the coalition.”
He insisted that the coalition has not embraced the ADA and emphasized that the public will be informed of the coalition’s proper decisions about the ADA.
”ADA has not been adopted by the coalition, and when the time is right, the public will be informed about the appropriate choices and decisions. Just be patient with that.,” he wrote
ZINGTIE noted that the Nigeria National Coalition Group (NCG) publicly requested in writing that the All Democratic Alliance, or ADA, be registered as a new political party with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
This has led to rumors that ADA will be the platform of Atiku Abubakar, Nasir El-Rufa’i, Peter Obi, Rotimi Amaechi, and other candidates in the 2027 election.
