His principal’s stance on the effort to remove President Bola Tinubu in 2027 has been made public by a former Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to former President Muhammadu Buhar.

According to ZINGTIE, former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai, former Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar, and former Sokoto State Governor Aminu Tambuwal paid Buhari a visit at his Kaduna State home as the nation’s attention turns to the coalition of political leaders.

However, El-rufai assured the media during the encounter that they had no political motive for visiting the former president.

Some members of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, nevertheless associate the visit with the 2027 presidential election in spite of the explanation.

In an interview on Arise News, Shehu flatly denied that Buhari now wants to overthrow Tinubu or plans to run against the APC in the 2027 elections.

“No, not at all. President Buhari’s position was and still is that he’s an APC person. APC did him the big favour of his life. Made him president for two terms.

“He is not going to betray that party. President Tinubu is a successor from the same political party.

“President Buhari ran for office three times and didn’t win until they came together with Tinubu and all the others and they won.”
