2027: I will never be in coalition plotting Tinubu’s removal – Hadi Sirika

Former Aviation Minister Hadi Sirika denied on Wednesday that he was involved in the opposition coalition’s 2027 plot to overthrow President Bola Tinubu.

During his appearance on Channels TV’s Morning Brief, the former Minister clarified that he was not involved with the group and would never be a part of it.

Sirika only responded, “No, I am not,” when pressed to clarify the rumors of his purported involvement.

“Yesterday, I was with Chief Bayo Onanuga in the Presidential Villa and he said I was in the coalition. I told him I was not and never will be. He said he got that from the reports. People can join coalition, it is democracy,” he added.

Similarly, when asked to explain his recent trip to Aso Rock, the former Minister stated that it was to formally offer President Tinubu his condolences after the passing of former President Muhammadu Buhari.

He said, “The purpose of the meeting was to officially pay our condolences to the President, who did extremely well after the demise of our leader, President Muhammadu Buhari.”
