Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, former National Publicity Secretary of the now-defunct New Peoples Democratic Party (nPDP), has reminded ex-Governor Nyesom Wike that the future is known only to God.

Eze emphasized that no individual, regardless of status or influence, should attempt to assume divine authority over the destiny of others.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain expressed concern over Wike’s frequent public boasts and verbal attacks on political opponents, warning that his conduct gives the impression he holds control over people’s lives.

Eze suggested that if Wike, now the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, possessed the power over life and death, those who opposed him would not survive.

He firmly stated that Wike lacks the ability to end the political career of his predecessor and former ally, Chibuike Amaechi, maintaining that the ex-Minister of Transportation is on his way back to political relevance.

According to Eze, it is misguided for Wike to assume he can dictate Amaechi’s future in politics, reminding him that the future remains uncertain.

As a close associate of Amaechi, Eze expressed confidence that his ally will make a political comeback, alongside other progressive-minded leaders.

He added that the real political threat lies not with Amaechi or the opposition, but with the current leadership, including Wike and President Bola Tinubu, who, he claimed, are increasingly facing public discontent.

Eze predicted that by 2027, Nigerians would be ready to vote out the current government.

He argued that the next general election will not simply be a contest between political parties like the APC and ADC, but between the ruling APC and the Nigerian people, frustrated by the administration’s failure to address economic hardship and growing insecurity.

“Just like Amaechi said, President Tinubu has disappointed Nigerians.

“His leadership style, if he has any, has plunged Nigeria into a state of quagmire, hopelessness,” he claimed.
