2027: Plan to defeat Tinubu national consensus — Tambuwal

Aminu Tambuwal, a legislator from the Sokoto South Senatorial District, has called the strategy to depose President Bola Tinubu in 2027 a national consensus.

Tambuwal made this claim on Friday when answering questions during an interview on Channels Television’s “Politics Today” show.

“I am fully involved in a democratically and lawfully process that will send this government out of office.

“He can be defeated; I believe so. I am working along with the coalition leaders to do that in the interest of the country. It is not about Bola Tinubu. It is about the way he is running the country,” he said.

The federal lawmaker went on to say that Tinubu cannot overcome an opposition that includes Rabiu Kwankwaso, Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi, and former President Goodluck Jonathan.

The former Speaker of the House of Representatives responded, “When they all declare openly, then I will come back and tell you my choice” when asked which presidential candidate he preferred.
