2027: Rhodes-Vivour reveals his conversation with Peter Obi before joining ADC

Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, the Labour Party’s Lagos State governorship candidate for 2023, claims he sought and received clearance from Pre Obi, the party’s former presidential candidate, to join the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

Rhodes-Vivour claimed this on Sunday during an appearance on Channels Television’s ‘Politics Today’.

“Yes. Certainly. A representative of his was at the declaration on Saturday. Peter Obi and I are communicating, we are aligned. There is no step I am taking that he is not aware of.

“We have all agreed that the only way for the opposition to have a successful election is through a coalition.

“Regardless of where anybody may be at this time, we are working towards that aim,” he said.
