Dr. Sam Amadi, former Chairman of the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC), claims that human rights lawyer Deji Adeyanju is a supporter of President Bola Tinubu.

The claim came after Adeyanju repeatedly attacked the Labour Party’s presidential candidate for 2023, Peter Obi.

According to ZINGTIE, the notorious lawyer threatened in a series of posts on X that if the coalition of opposition leaders nominates Obi for the 2027 election, he (Deji) will vote for Tinubu.

His attitude fuelled rumors that he was secretly working for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), although the lawyer has since refuted this.

In response to one of his aggressive remarks about Obi, Amadi remarked on X: “You are a Tinubu supporter; I am an Obi supporter. You have a good (personnel) reason for your support. You are within your right”.

Sharing the post, Deji stated Amadi’s “tears are tasty,” emphasizing that if Obi wins the presidential ticket of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, a coalition party, he will not hesitate to vote for the APC.

He wrote, “Your tears are tasty the Doc, my able lecturer. I will openly vote Tinubu with my full chest if the opposition makes the mistake of presenting your candidate.

“I will help Tinubu secure a second term the way you guys helped him in 2023 by dividing opposition votes.”
