Primate Elijah Ayodele, the leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, stated on Sunday that former Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi by himself is unable to undermine President Bola Tinubu’s bid for a second term in 2027.
According to Ayodele, three individuals will undermine the President’s aspirations. Later, he said, he will tell their names.
The prophet stated in a statement by his media assistant, Oluwatosin Osho, that even though Tinubu has outperformed his predecessor and can do better in 2027, he would advise the President to set aside his ambition if any of the three “mysterious” individuals ran for office or joined the proposed coalition.
Primate Ayodele said: “Peter Obi alone cannot weaken President Tinubu’s ambition. Obi alone cannot be President of the country, and the coalition hasn’t gotten the people it needs to weaken President Tinubu’s second-term ambition.
“We want people who can make things better than ever. Tinubu has worked more than Buhari and he will do better for his second term if Nigerians allow him to win, but the involvement of three certain people will weaken his victory.”
The prophet also cautioned that the president must appoint the appropriate individuals to key positions in order to prevent betrayal and the truncation of his victory, particularly in the North.
“Tinubu must work on the North very well so that he won’t be betrayed by those whom he believes.
“If Tinubu doesn’t put the right people in some positions, his victory will be truncated, especially in the North, even though he is ready.
“He must do three things for him to win. There will be a lot of difference in the 2027 election, and it’s only three people who can weaken him,” he added.
