A 22-year-old guy named Kwabena Osei and his 19-year-old fiancée tragically perished in a terrible incident in Kasoa, Ghana, after being set on fire by friends over GHS 190,000 that was purportedly obtained through online fraud.
As to a post published on GhPage, Osei, who is purportedly a part of an internet fraud group, was singled out for his refusal to distribute the large gains among his fellow crooks. Osei’s friends had approached him time and time again, pleading with him to think twice before keeping the money for himself. Their pleas were unanswered, though, and tensions inside the group increased.
Osei’s friends are said to have set fire to his house and drenched it with fuel in a desperate attempt, causing the entire home to burn down. Unfortunately, his girlfriend—who went by Princess—was present at the time and also succumbed to the fire.
Sources told GhPage that Princess was also participating in the fraudulent activities, purportedly posing as the voice of a claimed white lady to enable calls on behalf of Osei and his group.
