The arraignment of Abdullahi Ganduje, National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), was rescheduled until June 5 by Kano State High Court No. 7.

Ganduje is on trial with his son Abdullahi Umar, his wife Hafsat Umar, and five others.

Abubakar Bawuro, Jibrilla Muhammad, Lamash Properties Limited, Safari Textile Ltd., and Lasage General Enterprise Ltd. were among the defendants in the lawsuit.

NAN reminds readers that the Kano State High Court No. 5, presided over by Justice Usman Na’abba, had set a May 16 deadline for deciding on the defendants’ appeal for substituted service.

This occurred before the matter was reassigned to High Court No. 7, which was presided over by Justice Amina Adamu and State Chief Judge Justice Dije Aboki.

In contrast to the original eight-count charges against Ganduje and his co-defendants, the updated charge sheet obtained by NAN included eleven counts.

These are accusations that teeter on the verge of criminal conspiracy and betrayal.
