Former Jigawa State Governor Sule Lamido has been disparaged by Lere Olayinka, the Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media to Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, over his criticisms of the minister.
According to Olayinka, under Wike’s leadership, everyone in the FCT abides by the capital city’s regulations.
He pointed out that Wike is not a member of Lamido’s society of impunity.
Earlier on Wednesday, Lamido demanded that Wike and other imposters be kicked out of the PDP.
He had asserted that the PDP was at jeopardy from Wike’s continued membership.
In addition to calling Wike a disaster, the former governor threatened to boycott the party’s events if the Minister was not dealt with.
He scowled as he made the remarks in response to the PDP’s National Secretariat being sealed.
The PDP National Secretariat and other premises were sealed by the FCT Authority, commanded by Wike, for failing to pay ground rent.
The PDP Secretariat was impacted when the FCTA annulled the land titles of 4,794 properties for failing to pay ground rent for ten to forty-three years.
President Bola Tinubu stepped in when the FCTA’s confiscation of properties caused a stir, and the Minister granted defaulters a 14-day grace time to pay their ground rent.
In a sharp message to ZINGTIE, Olayinka responded to Lamido’s comment by questioning what the PDP has created in Jigawa State following Lamido’s departure in 2015.
He said: “We don’t have time to exchange words with someone who carries on like PDP as a party is only about his Jigawa, where he is the beginning and the last of the party.
“Since he left office as governor in 2015, what has PDP produced in Jigawa, apart from Sule Lamido and his children as the party’s candidates?
“On the PDP Secretariat, the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, is not a member of Sule Lamido’s society of impunity and lawlessness.
“For him, everyone must obey the laws as far as dealing with the FCT is concerned.”
