Bolaji Abdullahi, the National Publicity Secretary of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has threatened legal action against individuals who oppose the party’s leadership, which is headed by former Senate President David Mark.
While answering questions during an interview on Channels Television’s “Politics Today” show on Thursday, Abdullahi offered this counsel.
The party spokesperson was responding to the Independent National Electoral Commission’s (INEC) acknowledgement of the party’s new leadership.
He claimed that members had become concerned about INEC’s stance on the party’s leadership as a result of the recognition’s delay.
However, Abdullahi claimed that the party was now able to properly register new members thanks to the official confirmation.
“The ADC is not in leadership tussle with anyone. And whoever is against David Mark’s leadership of the party, should seek redress in the court of law,” he said.
