Nura Hussaini, a close political associate of Kano Municipal lawmaker Engr. Sagir Ibrahim Koki, has resigned from his position as Special Adviser on Commerce to Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf.

While Hussaini did not publicly disclose the reason for stepping down, sources suggest that his resignation could be related to plans to join the APC alongside his principal, Engr. Sagir Ibrahim Koki, who represents Kano Municipal Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.

In recent developments, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso expressed dissatisfaction with certain NNPP lawmakers, accusing them of associating with APC members while ignoring the signature red cap of the Kwankwasiyya Movement.

“We are watching them, and we will deal with them,” Kwankwaso warned.

Reports also indicate that some NNPP legislators from Nassarawa, Kumbotso, Gwale, and other constituencies are reportedly considering a switch to the APC in the coming weeks.
