This season, Real Madrid has established two new goals records in the Spanish LaLiga.

As reported by OptaJose, Los Blancos is currently the team with the highest number of goals scored from elaborate attacks (eight) and set pieces (17) in LaLiga this season.

This season, only Villarreal (eight) has netted more goals from counter-attacks than Real Madrid (seven).

This follows Real Madrid’s recent 2-0 LaLiga victory over Valencia on Sunday.

Remember that Álvaro Carreras and Kylian Mbappe each scored to secure a win for Álvaro Arbeloa’s team against the hosts at Mestalla Stadium.

After 23 matches in LaLiga, Real Madrid sits just one point behind Barcelona, the league leaders.

In their next LaLiga match on Saturday, they will take on Real Sociedad at home.
