President Bola Tinubu has recounted the challenges and sacrifices he endured on his path to becoming Nigeria’s President.

The President made the disclosure on Friday in Lagos while receiving members of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum, led by Vice President Kashim Shettima, during a Sallah homage at his residence.

Tinubu expressed appreciation to some governors who joined him from the early stages of his political journey, commending their patience, loyalty, and perseverance.

He noted that the road to the presidency was far from easy, describing it as a path filled with intense struggles and personal sacrifices.

The President stated that he endured several difficult moments and tough confrontations before eventually attaining the nation’s highest political office.

According to him, the experience strengthened his resolve and prepared him for the responsibilities of leadership.

Tinubu also encouraged political leaders to remain steadfast and focused despite challenges, stressing that determination and resilience are essential in public service.

He reiterated his commitment to delivering on the promises made to Nigerians and advancing the country’s development agenda.
