Arsenal legend Thierry Henry has predicted that France will face a difficult contest in the semi-finals of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Henry made the remark on Fox Sports on Thursday after France secured a 2-0 victory over Morocco in the quarter-finals to book a place in the last four.
France will take on the winner of the quarter-final clash between Belgium and Spain in the World Cup semi-finals on Tuesday at Dallas Stadium.
Belgium and Spain are scheduled to battle for a place in the semi-finals on Friday night.
“I hope they are going to have more gears, because whoever is coming next is going to be a big game,” Henry said of France.
“If you play Belgium, there is a bit of rivalry there. And if you play Spain, you’d better be ready because they are the European champions. You know what Spain can do. They got France out of the last Euros in the semifinal.
“It’s going to be, once again, difficult,” he said.
