Actress Biola Bayo announces separation from husband

Popular Nollywood star, Biola Bayo, has publicly confirmed her separation from her husband, Oluseyi.

She made the disclosure on Tuesday afternoon through a message shared on her Instagram page to mark her birthday.

In the emotional post, Biola Bayo revealed that the couple had been apart since April 2024 due to unresolved issues that could not be reconciled.

Addressing her supporters, the actress expressed regret that her marriage ended and apologized to those who may feel let down by the news. “I’m sincerely sorry, I wished it worked but it’s better to stay alive to tell the story. Please keep us in your prayers.

“While I go about making other people happy in the day, my pillow is drenched with my own tears almost every night for the past 14 months but I gain strength from Christ who loves me eternally and gave himself for me.”

Biola Bayo and Oluseyi tied the knot in April 2021.

Prior to this, she was married to a man identified simply as Ola, who resided in the United Kingdom. That marriage, which began in October 2012, ended in 2014.
