Uche Montana, a Nollywood actress, has refuted rumors that she was connected to the alleged drug problem involving actress Regina Daniels and her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.
A few days after Nwoko accused Regina’s close friends and family, including actresses Sonia Uche and Uche Montana, as allegedly hindering his wife’s rehabilitation process in a lengthy Facebook post, Montana responded to the allegations in a message on her Instagram page on Monday.
According to Nwoko, the people in issue would “bring her the same drugs she was being treated for” and frequently disregarded doctors’ orders to limit Regina’s access during therapy.
Reacting to the allegation, Montana said, “My attention has been drawn to a circulating post that appears to link my name to certain claims.
“For clarity, I have no involvement or connection to the situation described. This note is simply to set the record straight and protect my peace.”
As the uproar surrounding Regina Daniels’ marriage to Nwoko intensifies, she is making her reaction.
Recall that Regina claimed to be a victim of domestic abuse two weeks prior, calling herself a “slave” at her husband’s house in a widely shared video.
Nwoko, however, denied the accusations, claiming that his wife was violently abusing domestic workers and that she was struggling with a “drug and alcohol addiction.”
