The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has launched a nationwide exercise for membership revalidation, mobilization, and registration, along with the inauguration of state committees.
NEC members, party leaders, key stakeholders, and dedicated party supporters from all over the country attended the flag-off event on Thursday in Abuja.
The leadership of the party characterized the exercise as a strategic and transformative move aimed at bolstering the internal structures of the ADC, enhancing grassroots involvement, and repositioning the party for a greater national impact.
The party called on its members to engage actively in the process to help create a credible, updated, and inclusive membership database.
The leadership also announced that the newly issued membership card from this exercise officially supersedes and invalidates all previously issued ADC membership cards.
“Consequently, all members are required to complete the revalidation and registration process in order to retain their active membership status and full privileges within the party.
“The inauguration of the State MRMR Committees underscores the party’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and effective coordination at the state level. The committees have been mandated to ensure a smooth, transparent, and successful implementation of the exercise nationwide,” the ADC said.
The party stated that it stays committed to the task of strengthening democratic values, enlarging its membership base, and creating a more robust political movement focused on the people throughout Nigeria.
