Other political heavyweights have been urged by the African Democratic Congress (ADC) leadership to make sure that the coalition process is open and inclusive.
They declared that their platform will not be used against the desire of the populace.
Additionally, they urged participants to maintain their vigilance, cautioning that they will oppose powerful interests that seek to undermine their objective.
ADC said in a statement signed by Chief Ralphs Nwosu, the national chairman, that some organizations are anticipated to fight back to keep their hold on power after cornering public resources for their own benefit.
Nwosu stated that in order to free Nigeria from the clutches of nepotism, starvation, impunity, corruption, insecurity, insurgency, and bad governance, ADC intends to call a meeting of all coalition partners to discuss new concerns.
According to him, the ADC will operate as a national political force rather than “business as usual.”
He said, “Political ideology and a genuine vision of nationhood must go beyond mere slogans and entitlement mindsets typified by the ‘it is my turn’ narrative.
“The challenges facing Nigeria amount to a national emergency that demands unity and collective action.”
As the coalition gained traction, Nwosu said, Nigerians from all political backgrounds, including those without any political ties, were being enrolled as new members.
