AFCON 2023: DSTV makes u-turn, SuperSport to televise matches

All 52 games of the 2023 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Cote d’Ivoire will be televised on SuperSport channels on DSTV and GOtv.

On Wednesday night, a tweet verified this.

It simply read: “No gree for anybody! Watch all 52 matches of the #afcon2023 on @supersports.”

Last week, Multichoice announced that DSTV will not be able to broadcast the AFCON.

They acknowledged in a statement that the business had not obtained the rights.

Nonetheless, SuperSport and NTA will broadcast the competition live from Côte d’Ivoire.

Saturday, January 13, 2024, is the start date of AFCON 2023.
