AFCON 2023: Lookman wary of ‘good team’ Angola

Ademola Lookman, a winger for the Super Eagles, thinks his team is ready for the challenge against Angola.

At the ongoing 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, Nigeria will play the Black Antelopes in the quarterfinals on Friday.

The Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium in Abidjan will host the match.

Angola has won three of their four games in Cote d’Ivoire and drawn one, making for a remarkable season thus far.

Lookman said that the Super Eagles will train hard for the match. Lookman scored two goals in the team’s 2-0 victory over Cameroon on Saturday.

“Angola are a good team. We’ll analyze them and prepare. The further you go, the tougher it gets, so we’ll take it game by game,” Lookman told reporters.
