AFCON 2023: SuperSport will not televise tournament

The largest pay TV network in Africa, SuperSport, has announced that it will not be airing the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

The broadcaster’s inability to “secure rights for the tournament” is the reason behind this.

This was revealed by SuperSport in a statement on Wednesday.

The 2023 AFCON will, nevertheless, be accessible via Free To Air (FTA) channels.

According to ZINGTIE, the 2023 AFCON is slated for January 13–February 11, 2024.

The host country for the 2023 AFCON is Ivory Coast.
