AFCON 2025: Osimhen gets new position ahead of Super Eagles match against Morocco

According to ZINGTIE, Victor Osimhen will lead the Super Eagles against the Atlas Lions of Morocco in their semifinal match.

Due to card accumulation, Wilfred Ndidi, the team’s captain, will miss the game.

During Nigeria’s Round of 16 match against the Mozambican Mambas, Ndidi received a warning.

In the quarterfinal matchup with Tunisia, the Besiktas star was also booked.

Osimhen led the Super Eagles in their most recent group match against Uganda, according to ZINGTIE.

On the eve of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, Osimhen was appointed vice-captain of the Super Eagles.
