AFCON: Ola Aina names most skillful player in Super Eagles squad

The most skilled player on the Super Eagles is Ola Aina, a defender.

One of Nigeria’s best players at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations has been Aina.

The fullback for Nottingham Forest has received praise for both his on- and off-ball abilities.

However, he believes Samuel Chukwueze of AC Milan to be more skilled.

After training on Monday, Aina answered questions from reporters and was asked if he thought he was the best player on the Super Eagles team.

He replied, “I don’t know. I don’t think so”.

In response to additional questions about who the best player was, Aina said, “Samuel Chukwueze.” Yeah, I think it’s Samuel.”

Chukwueze has played in three of Nigeria’s four AFCON matches, beginning with the victories against Guinea-Bissau and Cote d’Ivoire.
