Oyuvwe Vincent Odili Lucky, a Delta State resident, is commemorating the first anniversary of his unusual union—in which he married two ladies on the same day.

On June 22, 2024, Oyuvwe attracted attention by holding a joint marriage ceremony with his wives, Mary Odeaebra Lagos and Suzy Oghenekvwe Willie, at Oghara, which is situated in the state’s Ethiope East Local Government Area.

He clarified that he decided to wed them as they had been cohabitating peacefully for a number of years.

On Sunday, June 22, 2025, he celebrated himself and his wife on Facebook.

“Happy Anniversary to Us it can only be God,” he wrote.
