Police are searching for two boys who may have been involved in a brutal attack on their mother after a serious incident.

After a fight on the evening of March 20, Andrew and Ivan, the suspects, are charged with attempted murder.

When the brothers got home and discovered their mother, Melidah, with a man named Joseph, the fight broke out. They responded angrily, thinking it was a betrayal of their father, Isaac, who was away on a teaching assignment.

The brothers allegedly used machetes to severely injure their mother and her partner when they were furious. For immediate medical attention, the wounded were sent to a hospital.

Police spokesperson Fred Enanga emphasized the importance of parental respect and vehemently denounced the act. Instead of using violence to settle such family conflicts, he advised that they be discussed with family members, local elders, or the police.

The community is in disbelief, and many people are demanding that the brothers be held accountable. The example emphasizes how urgently improved procedures are needed to settle household disputes and stop catastrophes like this one.
