A former Senatorial aspirant of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Aisha Yesufu, has declared that casting a vote for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2027 general elections would amount to endorsing the continued activities of terrorists across the country.

Yesufu made the assertion in a statement shared through her verified X account on Sunday.

Her comments come at a time when concerns over insecurity continue to dominate national discourse, with reports of persistent killings, kidnappings, and violent attacks recorded in different parts of the country.

The human rights advocate also appealed to Nigerians who are 18 years and above to ensure they obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) ahead of the next general elections.

According to her, the change many Nigerians have long prayed for can only be achieved through active participation in the electoral process.

“Any vote for APC is vote for these terrorists to continue what they are doing,” the co-convener of BringBackOurGirls Movement said.
