Suspended Senator representing Kogi Central, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, has announced her plan to return to the Senate on Tuesday.

According to her, the decision to resume duties is based on a recent court ruling.

She made this known during a media interaction while attending a training program in her constituency on Saturday.

Akpoti-Uduaghan stated that the suspension had prevented her from fulfilling her legislative responsibilities.

She further revealed that she has formally notified the Senate in writing of her intention to return.

Despite ongoing debates over the judgment delivered by the Abuja Federal High Court, she confirmed that she would resume her role on Tuesday.

“I have pretty much two months more before the six months expire. However, I have written to the Senate again telling them that I’m resuming on the 22nd, which is on Tuesday, by the special grace of God.

“I will be there, because the court did make the decision on that,” she said.
