The Rector of The Polytechnic, Ibadan, Dr. Taiwo Lasisi, has commended Dr. Lekan Adisa, a former student and founder of Lekan Adisa Foundation, for donating a modern convenience facility to the school. During the official handing-over ceremony, Lasisi expressed the polytechnic management’s appreciation for Adisa’s generosity, stating, “I express the polytechnic management’s appreciation and commendation to Adisa for his generosity, support, and invaluable contribution to the development of the institution.”

Adisa, in response, thanked the Department of Public Administration for its role in his development as a student. “This project represents my contribution to the development of the school,” he said. “Through the foundation I have established for the development of mankind, more projects will be executed in the school.
Adisa urged alumni of the institution to give back to the school, reflecting a sense of responsibility towards societal development. “My advice is that alumni of this great institution should commit themselves to the cause of the school and give back to it to reflect a deep sense of responsibility towards societal development,” he said.
The donation is part of Adisa’s efforts to promote environmental development within the institution and foster a conducive learning environment for students. “The event marked an important step in promoting environmental development within the institution to foster a conducive learning environment for students,” Adisa added.
