The Nigerian Tribune reported on Saturday, November 8, 2025, that Primate Elijah Ayodele, the leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, expressed new concerns on what he claimed to be the deployment of American military in Nigeria.

The cleric asserted this while cautioning the federal government to take immediate action to avert what he described as an impending national emergency. He claims that if the purported US military presence is not adequately addressed, it may result in increased foreign intervention in Nigeria’s domestic affairs.

Ayodele called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his government to take the issue seriously.

He stated that in order to safeguard the country’s sovereignty and stop any potential escalation, the government must act quickly and strategically.

The prophet said that in order to prevent regrets in the future, the government should “do something different quickly” rather than ignore what is going on.

He cautioned that denial or delay might make matters worse and put the nation at worse risk.

Primate Ayodele suggested that the administration go to God for guidance on how to resolve the matter.

He pointed out that the administration’s problem goes beyond politics and calls for spiritual assistance.

He claims that the only way President Tinubu’s administration can resolve the escalating conflict both domestically and internationally is by divine wisdom.

He claimed that the situation could not be solved by depending just on technology or political fixes.

“America is already in Nigeria; this government should do something different quickly. Tinubu administration must urgently seek divine intervention if it hopes to overcome the looming crisis.,” he warned.
