The socialite talked about her divorce from 2Baba Idibia and the reasons she kept quiet in a recent interview.

After allegedly divorcing musician 2baba, Nigerian actress and reality sensation Annie Macaulay has spoken out.

A few months ago, 2Baba declared his divorce from Annie in an Instagram post that has since been removed.

He even went so far as to declare his engagement to Edo State House of Assembly member Natasha Osawaru.

Annie responded to the news by explaining why she had remained silent.

Her words,“Silence isn’t weakness it’s peace. Since my divorce from Innocent Idibia, I chose to step back, reflect, and heal away from the noise. The truth is, not everything needs to be explained, and not every battle is meant to be fought in public”.

“Love, pain, lessons, and growth all come with life’s journey. I have embraced mine with grace, focusing on myself, my children, and the future ahead. Sometimes, silence speaks louder than words”.
