The club also shared food and refreshments with the less privileged at Waterside, bringing joy and smiles to their faces. The event was attended by top dignitaries, including the Executive Local Government Chairman, Hon. IDOWU ADEJUMOKE SENBANJO, renowned entertainer, Charlie Boy, and billionaire businessman, Oscar Ibru.
“This outreach is a testament to our club’s motto: One Big Happy Family,” said Barr. Chuks Nwana ESQ, President of Apapa Club 1930. “We believe that everyone deserves a little love and kindness, especially during Valentine’s Day. By giving back to our community, we’re strengthening the bonds that unite us as one big happy family.”
The Vice President, Hon. Benjamin Mokwunye, added, “Today’s outreach is a shining example of our club’s commitment to spreading love and kindness. We’re not just donating to those in need; we’re showing them that they’re part of our community, our family.”
In closing, the Entertainment Secretary, Mr. Uche Aninye, noted, “I’m proud to be part of a club that’s resilient, progressive, and dedicated to making a positive impact. We’re not just making Apapa Club a side attraction; we’re bringing the entire Apapa community back to life, one outreach at a time. Thank you to everyone who made this possible!”
