On Monday, the All Progressives Congress, APC, announced that it had accepted the resignation of its former National Chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje.
During its 174th National Working Committee (NWC) meeting, which was chaired by Acting National Chairman Ali Bukar Dalori, the party made this declaration.
Last week, Ganduje announced his resignation as the ruling party’s national chairman, citing the need to focus on his health.
His resignation was formally acknowledged and accepted by the NWC on Monday.
The party offered wishes for the former chairman’s quick recovery and thanked him for his exceptional leadership.
Dalori stressed that the APC is still a big, cohesive family. With the major objective of strengthening internal democracy and preserving the gains that have been accomplished, he promised to dedicate himself to working with other NWC members as a cohesive team.
He thanked President Bola Tinubu for continuously exhibiting exceptional leadership and commitment to the party and the country.
