The National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has been rescheduled for Thursday, July 24, 2025.

The meeting will now take place at the Presidential Villa’s Banquet Hall at 2:00 p.m. instead of the party’s national secretariat in Abuja, where it was originally scheduled to take place.

Felix Morka, the National Spokesman for the party, announced the change in the meeting location in a statement on Wednesday, citing logistical considerations.

“The All Progressives Congress (APC) announces that the meeting of the Party’s National Executive Committee (NEC), scheduled to be held on Thursday, 24th July, 2025, will now take place at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

“The change of venue from the Party’s National Secretariat – 40 Blantyre Street, Wuse II, Abuja – is due to logistical reasons,” the statement read.

According to ZINGTIE, the APC-elected governors met behind closed doors in Abuja on Wednesday in preparation for the NEC meeting on Thursday.

The All Progressives Governors Forum Chairman, Governor Hope Uzodimma, hosted the meeting, which was held at the Imo State Governor’s Lodge in Abuja.
